ASCENDING, LLC is an independent Arizona limited liability company headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona, formed in 2019. ASCENDING is an independent autonomous mobility company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or commercially partnered with Tesla, Inc. or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or related entities, including but not limited to Tesla Energy Operations, Inc., Tesla Insurance Services, Inc., or any business unit operating under the Tesla brand.
ASCENDING is also not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or commercially partnered with: Alphabet, Inc.; Waymo LLC; Uber Technologies, Inc.; Lyft, Inc.; Zoox, Inc.; Cruise LLC; Aurora Innovation, Inc.; Mobileye Global Inc.; General Motors Company; Ford Motor Company; Hyundai Motor Company; or any other vehicle, technology, robotics, autonomous mobility, ride-hail, or transportation service company.
No Special Access or Relationship
ASCENDING is not a Tesla-authorized fleet partner and has no special access, preferred relationship, insider information, advance information, priority allocation, fleet partnership agreement, or any other contractual or commercial relationship with Tesla, Inc. that is not available to the general public through standard consumer and commercial channels.
Any vehicle that ASCENDING may acquire from Tesla, Inc. has been or will be acquired through the same standard consumer or commercial sales, lease, or financing channels that are available to any other purchaser. Any software, firmware, or driver-assistance features available on such vehicles are or will be used under the same standard owner/operator license terms applicable to any other purchaser of equivalent hardware.
Standard Consumer/Commercial Use
ASCENDING's planned Phase 1 fleet consists of leased production electric vehicles, such as Tesla Model Y, acquired through standard channels and operated under standard lease and software terms available to any owner/operator. References on this site to specific manufacturer products are descriptive of the categories of vehicle ASCENDING plans to operate or evaluate; they are not commitments, representations of available inventory, or representations of any relationship with the manufacturer.
References on this site to any third-party autonomous vehicle network programs (including any program announced or operated by Tesla, Inc.) describe categories of programs ASCENDING may seek to participate in if and when such programs are opened to third-party operators with published terms. ASCENDING has no current contractual right, special access, or assurance of participation in any such program.

ASCENDING, LLC is a pre-launch operator and is not currently providing autonomous mobility, rideshare, or transportation services to the public. Statements regarding service area, vehicles, pricing, launch timing, and operational features describe planned future operations and are not commitments.
Joining the ASCENDING waitlist is for future-availability notification only and does not constitute an agreement to provide service, a commitment to any specific service terms, or an enforceable right to receive service from ASCENDING. Waitlist membership confers no contractual entitlement. ASCENDING reserves the right to modify, defer, or decline service availability in its sole discretion. Nothing on this site shall be construed as creating a transportation contract, common carrier obligation, or fiduciary relationship between ASCENDING and any visitor, waitlist member, or other person.

Regulatory Status
ASCENDING, LLC holds the Arizona certifications and registrations described in the Regulatory section of the ASCENDING website. ASCENDING's Arizona regulatory standing is established under Arizona Revised Statutes Title 28 (Transportation), including provisions governing transportation network companies and autonomous vehicles. ASCENDING's regulatory standing is independent of, and does not derive from, any relationship with any vehicle manufacturer or autonomous platform operator.
Additional regulatory approvals may be required for autonomous fleet operation, including but not limited to: autonomous vehicle deployment authorizations; municipal operating permits; airport ground transportation agreements; insurance certifications; and other approvals applicable to commercial autonomous mobility operators in Arizona. Such additional approvals are pending, in process, or planned. ASCENDING will not commence commercial autonomous service operations prior to obtaining all required approvals.
